Our Good Works

COMPASSION FOR SOULS

We’re reaching people, changing lives, One soul at a time!

Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.” – John 4:35 (NIV)

Myke Omudu Ministries preaches Love, Hope, and Faith to desperate and suffering humanity around the world through our global outreaches, conferences, leadership training, economic empowerment programs, and global humanitarian efforts.

Our ministry donates magnanimously to likeminded faith-based organizations, from inception we have prayerfully and financially supported the cause of Jesus Christ around the globe through our collaboration with various local and global organizations who are uniquely positioned to reach people for Christ who we otherwise could not and as a result of such efforts, each week more than a million people are hearing God’s Word in Africa, Asia, the United States, and Europe because of the support of our partners.

LIFE EMPOWERMENT

Help someone to Become all that God created them to be.

“Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.” – Hebrews 13:1-3 (KJV)

Myke Omudu Ministries work with our partners to provide medical checkup and basic medical treatment to disadvantaged communities living in slums and remote villages. “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’

“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’ Then they also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’ Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.’ And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” – Matthew 25:31- 46 (ESV)

“Now when Job’s three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him. And when they lifted up their eyes afar off, and knew him not, they lifted up their voice, and wept; and they rent every one his mantle, and sprinkled dust upon their heads toward heaven. So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great.” – Job 2:11-13 (KJV)

GLOBAL HUMANITARIAN OUTREACH

Touching Lives, Building Communities, Building a happy World Together!

Matthew 5:16. “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” (KJV)

James 2:14-18Dear brothers, what’s the use of saying that you have faith and are Christians if you aren’t proving it by helping others? Will that kind of faith save anyone?   If you have a friend who is in need of food and clothing, and you say to him, “Well, good-bye and God bless you; stay warm and eat hearty,” and then don’t give him clothes or food, what good does that do? So you see, it isn’t enough just to have faith. You must also do good to prove that you have it. Faith that doesn’t show itself by good works is no faith at all—it is dead and useless. But someone may well argue, “You say the way to God is by faith alone, plus nothing; well, I say that good works are important too, for without good works you can’t prove whether you have faith or not; but anyone can see that I have faith by the way I act.”  (TLB)

Proclaiming the goodness of Jesus Christ is at the heart and soul of everything we do. However, we are commanded by Jesus to do good works. In order words, our good news should also lead to good works. It’s not necessary for others to hear what we say, but see our lives backing up our beliefs with practical love in action.

Through the years we have partnered with international and local organizations operating as first responders in disaster-hit areas around the world to provide emergency supplies like drinking water, food, and clothes, as well as temporary shelters.

Our Global Emergency and Disaster Relief efforts have touched thousands of lives, families, and communities around the globe through our donations to  Christian charity organizations and non-Christian charity organizations to mention a few, The International Red Cross, CNN Impact Your World, and UN disaster relief efforts worldwide.

Through the years our partners have helped provide support and relief for victims of earthquakes, hurricanes, religious conflicts, and floods as well as those whose lives have been turned upside down by other natural disasters.

Thanks to you partners, support to hurting families were available following the tsunami in Japan, earthquakes in Nepal and Haiti, the hurricane damage and floods of Irene, Harvey, Sandy, and many other tragedies in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, China, Philippines, Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda and other places around the world. Your continued giving shows the love of Christ in word and deed to people in their times of great need. You’re helping us to reach hurting and suffering humanity with the love of God. At Myke Omudu Ministries we use every available resource to help those in our own communities and those in need around the world.
